Two annual $2,000 awards to students (undergraduate or graduate) who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, especially in the area of disability, and/or initiative to improve the conditions and lives of all people, while attending post-secondary studies in Alberta. The recipient must have been enrolled full-time in the current academic year, be an Alberta resident and Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident. This award is made possible by funding from the Government of Alberta.
How to apply:

The application requires a maximum 1000 word essay on how you have shown leadership, especially in the area of disability, and/or initiative to improve the lives of others. You may want to prepare your essay in advance so that you can cut and paste it into the google form.
- Ask a referee to submit a letter of reference – LETTER OF REFERENCE GUIDELINES – Dr. Gary McPherson.
