
University and College Entrance Programs (UCEP) are eight-month day programs that enable students to achieve the necessary matriculation course equivalents for admission to Alberta post-secondary institutions under the non-matriculated applicant requirements. The program is structured for, and is open to, students who are 20 years of age or older and whose Mathematics and English skills are at a minimum Grade 10 level. Course selections include English 90, Mathematics 90, Social Studies 90, Biology 90, Chemistry 90, Physics 90, and Computers 90. The passing grade requirement for all UCEP courses is 50%.
UCEP General Admission is designed to allow students to achieve the necessary matriculation course equivalents for admission to Alberta post-secondary institutions under the non-matriculated applicant requirements. It is open to all students who meet the general criteria and who have a clear career goal and knowledge of the post-secondary requirements necessary to obtain it. The program offers intensive pre-university courses in all 90-level subject areas.

The Pre-University and College Entrance Program (Learning Foundations Program) is designed for adults who are planning to attend university or college in the future. It provides students with the academic skills necessary for success in UCEP courses or high school grade 10-12 level courses. Learning Foundations Program is a full-time program from September to April. The Program consists of courses in English, mathematics, science, and computer skills. Counselling support is available to students.
Successful completion of Learning Foundations Program provides the prerequisites for Concordia's UCEP, for high school upgrading (grade 10-12 level), and for pre-technology programs. Applicants may be eligible for Student Finance Board grants.
