Graduate Diploma in Psychological Assessment

Please note: Admission to the Psychological Assessment diploma and certificate programs is suspended and both programs are no longer accepting students.

This post-BA program has been designed to meet the needs of students and practicing psychologists to enhance their knowledge and skills in assessment.

For post-BA students, the program is intended to offer professional preparation to provide skilled assessment services under the supervision of a registered psychologist (e.g., as a psychological assistant).

For registered psychologists, the courses are intended to allow students to incorporate specific domains of psychological knowledge and assessment skills into their professional practice.

Key areas of emphasis include intellectual, personality, forensic, and neuropsychological assessment, in addition to the diagnosis of child, adolescent, and adult psychopathology. Our graduate diploma requires 18 credits or 6 courses worth 3 credits each. Courses are focused on developing students’ theory and knowledge integrated with hands-on practical skills.

Our diploma program is set up to provide students with the instruction and practical opportunities to acquire the abilities needed to complete psychological assessments, write reports, and make helpful, reliable, and valid suggestions for the individuals or third parties seeking the assessments.
